Corporate Strategy Intern – FreshDirect
About the Role
FreshDirect is looking for a Corporate Strategy Intern to join our dynamic team and help shape our long‑term growth and competitive edge. The internship provides hands‑on experience in corporate strategy, working closely with the strategy team on strategic planning, market & competitive intelligence, and strategic project execution.
Responsibilities
Support the strategic planning process by organizing cross‑functional workshops, conducting research, and synthesizing findings into actionable plans.
Assist in defining strategic objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for key initiatives.
Contribute to scenario planning and risk assessments, analyzing potential future scenarios and associated risks.
Conduct comprehensive market and competitive research to identify macro trends, industry shifts, opportunities, and threats.
Monitor competitor activities, tracking strategies, performance and market positioning.
Synthesize complex data into clear, concise insights for leadership.
Support the execution of strategic initiatives by helping with project planning, milestone tracking, and resource allocation.
Monitor progress against strategic objectives and recommend adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing an MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong interest in corporate strategy, consulting, or related analytical roles.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to break down complex information.
Proficiency in research methodologies and data synthesis.
Highly organized with strong project management skills.
A collaborative team player with excellent communication abilities.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with some ambiguity.
Salary and Total Rewards Salary: $23–$25 per hour
