Utility Worker II - Staples Promotional Products

Pay Rate: $21.25/Hourly (Includes $1.50/Hourly 2nd Shift Differential)
Shift Hours: 3:15 pm–12:45 am, Monday–Thursday and 12:00 pm–4:00 pm, Friday
What you’ll be doing
Remove finished product from the dryer conveyor, inspect garments carefully, ensure print quality meets standards, verify correct art, and keep accurate counts.
Work in the reclaim room to wash and prepare screens for screen printing onto garments.
Assist the printer by pulling garments from the screen print press and keep a clean work station.
Prepare garments for decoration by unpacking materials and verifying product and counts.
Manually fold and package products, maintain accurate counts, complete required paperwork, and apply barcodes to garment tags.
Affix hang tags onto garments, maintain accurate counts, and complete required paperwork.
Inspect the quality of finished product to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards; receive input from supervisor if unsure.
Interact with screen print operators to address garment decoration issues.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to stand in one location for extended periods of time.
Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communication).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in garment inspection or screen printing is a plus.
