Content Manager – Athletics Department
Position Summary:
The Content Manager serves as a graphic designer and supports the visual brand of the ECU Athletics Department across print, digital, audio/video platforms, and facility graphics for specific athletic programs. The role collaborates with the Director of Creative Media to develop awareness campaigns, organizational branding, marketing strategies, and media partnerships. It also supports social media efforts and may assist with game day events and creative content for the Pirate Club. Job Duties
The role includes: Designing and producing graphics, marketing collateral, digital assets, and video content. Managing print advertising relationships and developing advertising strategies. Collaborating with the Director of Creative Media on campaign development and brand initiatives. Assisting the Pirate Club with social media creation and distribution. Participating in game day events and other departmental activities as needed. Maintaining compliance with ECU, NCAA, and other applicable policies and regulations. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in commercial design, art, marketing, or sports-related field. Expert proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign and working knowledge of Dreamweaver and After Effects. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey project goals to partners and stakeholders. Knowledge of best practices for consumer‑facing marketing collateral, websites, TV commercials and digital signage. Preferred Experience and Skills
