
Team Coach - Gymnastics

Cartwheels is seeking an energetic, professional, and qualified coach for our compulsory and lower level optional team program. The job is primarily coaching levels 2 - 4 with the opportunity to also coach level 6 and 7 depending on experience.
Hours can vary based on the need of the applicant and can be anywhere between 3 to 5 days a week. We offer competitive pay and many opportunities for further education.
Applicants must have excellent technical gymnastics and spotting skills, knowledge of USAG team programs, and the desire to commit to the continued growth of our team programs. The primary role of this position is to develop our athletes through training and competition.
Position Requirements
One or more years of experience in coaching compulsory, or optional teams.
USAG Membership and USAG Safety Certified or eligible to be certified.
The ability to commit to the high standards we are setting as part of this growing program.
Experience coaching and teaching advanced gymnastics skills and routines.
Strong spotting skills.
Great communication and interpersonal skills to work with coaching peers, athletes, and parents.
The ability to work well in a cooperative and fun team coaching environment.
A positive, enthusiastic and respectful manner.
An availability that coincides with gymnastics coaching, i.e., one day per weekend for coaching and full weekend travel during meet season.
