Commercial Screen Printer

Qualifications(We need someone who can do both)
This is not an entry-level or training position—we’re seeking someone who can confidently handle production-level workloads with regards to printing on PAPER, who can collaborate with our team, and uphold the craftsmanship that defines our shop
Minimum 5 years of full-time professional screen printing experience in a commercial production environment, and at least half of that dealing directly with flatstock and screen printing on paper and flat items
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining high-quality standards
Keen attention to detail, color accuracy, and design alignment
Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and flexibility to assist across different areas of production when needed
A portfolio is not required
Applicants without verified, professional screen printing experience will not be considered
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain graphic screen printing presses with expert precision and efficiency (we own an AWT World Trade Group graphics press, but any vacuum clamshell press experience will due)
Also, knowledge of manual carousel textile presses is a plus
Set up, register, and execute multi-color prints while minimizing spoilage and ensuring consistent quality
Collaborate closely with the production team to meet tight deadlines and deliver superior results
Participate in all stages of production, including pre-press setup, screen coating, burning, ink mixing, and quality control
Communicate clearly with team members and management to ensure a smooth production flow
Press brands and types used
Typical production volume (shirts/hour or jobs/day)
Average number of colors printed per job
