Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Machinist/Mold Builder located in Plymouth, IN. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining machines used in mold manufacturing and repair, building and assembling molds, reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings, and ensuring precision in machining operations. The role also involves inspecting finished molds, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
Experience with machining tools, equipment, and techniques, including lathes, mills, or CNC machines
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Skills in precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Knowledge of mold building and maintenance processes
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail for troubleshooting and quality assurance
Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspaceStrong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Previous experience in plastic injection mold manufacturing or building is a plus
Technical training or certification in machining or a related field is preferred
Starting wage will be based on experience.
