
Resident Manager

Position
We are looking to hire a new manager to convert apartment seekers into happy residents! This role involves sales (leasing apartments), resident interaction and problem‑solving, administrative and technology skills, and maintaining curb appeal. The position is commission‑based in addition to wages, with a possible manager housing incentive after 90 days subject to location and availability.

Responsibilities
Convert telephone and walk‑in prospects into leases, maintaining and increasing occupancy.
Communicate effectively with existing residents.
Establish a successful retention and renewal program.
Work with the Senior Property Manager to oversee property operations.
Maintain occupancy levels and ensure positive tenant relations.
Manage a maintenance staff and comply with all reporting requirements.
Respond effectively to inquiries and current residents.
Utilize sales skills to demonstrate market‑ready product.
Monitor phone and walk‑in traffic using guest cards and logs.
Assist in off‑site and on‑site marketing.
Prepare reports and communicate daily activity or ideas to promote leasing results.
Prepare lease renewal notices and perform lease administration.
Obtain information and complete lease applications; set up and maintain lease files.
Perform other job‑related duties as required.
Engage in effective team building and leadership abilities.
Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
