Mortgage Underwriter
manages a pipeline of loans through loss mitigation decisioning using Excel-based tools and provide timely customer communications created in Word via regular mail and UPS. This is a replacement position supporting business-as-usual operations within a 30-person team. The role offers meaningful borrower impact work by providing homeowners solutions during hardship, skill-building opportunities, and a great team environment within a leading organization. A 2-week training period is provided. Key Responsibilities
Manage a pipeline of loans through
loss mitigation decisioning
using Excel-based tools Provide timely customer communications created in Word via regular mail and UPS Perform back-office work only (no telephone work) Interact with internal teams during approximately 30 minutes of daily meetings Handle access to customer data as required for loan decisioning and communications Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of overall experience Banking experience in an underwriting position (Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background) Required Skills
