Purchasing Specialist
Location: East Rutherford, NJ, USA [Buyer] - Purchasing Specialist Source, select and purchase houseware products, small home appliances, or beauty products, and focus on securing the best prices, quality, and terms. Manage inventory to meet company needs and customer demand. Key Responsibilities Researching and selecting products based on market trends, customer demand, and business goals Monitoring inventory levels to maintain optimal stock Finding, evaluating, and building relationships with suppliers Negotiating contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules Converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders Ensuring timely delivery Monitoring and reconciling any discrepancies Analyzing spending to identify cost-saving opportunities Monitoring vendor performance to ensure high standards Sourcing products and supplies that align with the company's strategic goals and operational needs Ensuring all procurement/purchasing activities follow company procedures, ethical guidelines, and legal regulations Working with other departments like Sales/CRM, Logistics, Customs, VM/Design, and supply chain planning to align purchasing Key Skills Required Negotiation and communication skills Analytical and cost-management skills Relationship and contract management abilities Strategic thinking and risk management Understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and global markets Requirements Must be eligible to work in the United States Valid driver's license and able to go on business trips At least 3~5 years of experience in purchasing preferred Must be bilingual (Korean & English) Benefits Health insurance (Including dental and vision) Free lunch (Mondays Fridays) Annual paid vacation and condolence benefits Company resort 401(k) matching
