Data Center Technician – Short-Term Project (PDU IP Assignment) Openings: 1-2 Technicians Environment: Mission Critical Data Center Overview Our mission-critical data center customer is seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to support a short-term project focused on Power Distribution Unit (PDU) configuration and IP address assignment. This role involves repetitive, detail-oriented work using a laptop to connect to PDUs and complete network configuration tasks. Key Responsibilities Connect laptops to PDUs to assign and validate IP addresses Perform repetitive configuration tasks accurately and efficiently Follow site procedures and change documentation standards Communicate progress and issues to the onsite lead or project manager Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area within the data center Required Experience & Skills Prior experience working in a data center or mission-critical environment Hands-on experience configuring or working with PDUs and IP addressing Comfortable performing repetitive technical tasks with a high level of accuracy Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures Personal laptop required (laptop will not be provided) Additional Requirements Ability to work onsite for the full project duration (4–5 days) Professional demeanor and ability to follow data center safety and security protocols Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
