Job Summary The Marketing Communications Coordinator supports marketing initiatives with a primary focus on content development, copywriting, and communication strategy. This role contributes to new account development, product and service education, and external marketing efforts, while also assisting with project coordination and light design production. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities the person in this role may be asked to perform. Essential Functions Develop and edit content for: Email campaigns (via Constant Contact) Sales and marketing collateral Event materials and follow-ups New account development initiatives Product and service education materials Translate complex concepts into clear, client-friendly messaging Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and brand standards Curate and refine existing content for reuse across channels Track and manage marketing projects using Marketing Tracking System(s) Coordinate timelines and deliverables across teams Ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule Proactively follow up on tasks and identify process improvements Support employee benefit guide creation and print during high frequency periods Develop and update materials using: Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Canva Beautiful.ai Support production of clean, professional collateral including: Print Marketing Collateral (Brochures, Flyers, Postcards, etc.) Digital marketing assets including html emails, newsletters, video, landing pages, web and some social. Video marketing support materials Presentations and event materials Apply existing templates and brand standards (not responsible for full-scale design work) Type and Scope of Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Skills and Qualifications Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills Proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Customer service mindset with a collaborative approach Self‑motivated and proactive; seeks out ways to contribute Ability to simplify complex information Flexible and willing to support evolving team needs Experience with Constant Contact or other HTML creation/management systems Familiarity with workflow tracking systems Exposure to B2B or insurance‑related marketing Work Experience Required for this Job 1–3 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field Education Required for this Job High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field strongly desired but not required. Attendance Requirements Daily attendance is required in the environment during normal business working hours Some overtime may be required In‑person and/or hybrid attendance occasionally required for company, client and/or team meetings The Company reserves the right to require in‑person attendance at the Company’s worksite at any time. The Company also reserves the right to make full‑time attendance at the Company’s worksite an essential job function for this position if attendance becomes necessary to increase productivity, to develop teamwork, to conduct training, to better address customer needs, or to accomplish any other valid business goal. If full‑time attendance requirements for this position materially change, the Company will provide thirty (30) days’ prior notice of the change. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Core business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but the employee’s schedules are at the discretion of the supervisor and dependent on the needs of the business. Travel None Physical Abilities Required for this Job While performing the duties of this job this individual is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, sit, talk, hear, use their hands and fingers (manual dexterity), use a telephone, and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifteen pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Mental Abilities Required for this Job The ability to solve problems, make decisions, interpret data, organize information, written and oral communication and read/write.
