Job Opportunity
BHSI has an exciting opportunity to join the Accident & Health Account Management Team in either an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager position. We are looking for the right candidate for our growing team and we have the flexibility to open this position for either level of experience. Account Managers support the SVP of UW and Regional Vice Presidents of Sales in one or more of the 6 US A&H regions. This is a market‑facing position collaborating with our internal teams, external producer partners and employer clients daily.
Account Managers/Senior Account Managers actively partner with their assigned producers by region to initiate all renewals and work with the Underwriting and the Sales team to achieve elevated levels of account and premium retention. They partner with assigned producers to negotiate all assigned renewals. Engage with the Underwriter and Regional Vice President to determine our responses and manage the process. This internal team will work together to determine the best course of action for more challenging renewal accounts.
The Account Manager/Senior Account Manager will join the Sales team on producer calls in each assigned region to further establish the producer relationship. They will also cover for the Sales teammates during any time off, including working with the Underwriting and Sales Teams on any New Business that may be required during the RVP’s absence. The preferred office locations for this role are Boston, Plymouth Meeting PA, Atlanta or Indianapolis. We are open to considering remote work arrangements as well.

Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
3‑7+ years of Employer Stop Loss Account Management experience is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication
Client services experience
Relationship building
Highly organized and capable of task‑management
Goal oriented
Negotiation skills
Skilled with Word, Excel, PDF programs and very capable of learning internal systems and reporting
David Young/ Connexure system experience preferred

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $140,000, along with annual bonus eligibility, covering the base pay for both levels of the role. Total compensation for a candidate is determined by their relevant skills, location, and experience.
