Position Overview TheBusiness Development Representative (BDR)plays a key role in driving growth for FRG by identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the BDR will be responsible for building strong relationships with local and regional businesses, educating them on FRG’s suite of advertising and marketing solutions, and setting qualified meetings for the sales team.
This is a fast-paced role that requires curiosity, resilience, and a results-driven mindset. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives on helping businesses grow while working in a supportive, family-focused company culture.
Key Responsibilities Research and identify potential advertising partners across FRG markets.
Conduct outreach via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person networking.
Maintain high activity levels aligned with weekly KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked).
Engage with business owners, marketing directors, and decision-makers to understand their needs.
Clearly communicate the value of FRG’s advertising platforms (print, digital, events, and GeauxIQ solutions).
Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and the Sales Manager.
Work closely with the Sales Manager and Account Executives to hand off warm, qualified leads.
Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM (AdOrbit / GeauxIQ).
Report weekly progress against KPIs and pipeline goals.
Community Engagement Represent FRG at networking events, expos, and community gatherings.
Build relationships with local organizations to increase FRG’s visibility and reputation.
Qualifications 1–2 years of outbound sales, telemarketing, or lead generation experience preferred (media/advertising background a plus).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable with cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with CRM tools (AdOrbit, HubSpot, or similar).
Performance Expectations 200+ outbound calls per week.
10+ qualified meetings booked per week.
Consistent contribution to the team pipeline to fuel revenue growth.
