
Corporate Communications Manager | Global Beauty Company

We are seeking a Manager to temporarily support the Global Corporate Communications team for a reputable beauty company located in New York, NY. This role is temporary starting in June lasting until December. The Manager will be working 34 hours per week across 5 days. The role will be operating off a hybrid schedule on-site 3-4x per week in Manhattan, NY.
Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight: Design and lead the execution of comprehensive, integrated communications programs that align with global business goals and strengthen corporate reputation.
Executive Counsel & Presence: Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership; preparing spokespeople for high-profile media engagements, keynotes, and industry conferences.
Narrative Ownership: Oversee the creation of sophisticated messaging frameworks and high-impact content. You will ensure a unified "voice of the brand" across all internal and external touchpoints.
Editorial Leadership: Direct the global editorial strategy and news flow, ensuring that every piece of content—from thought leadership to press releases—serves a larger strategic purpose.
Crisis & Reputation Management: Proactively identify reputational risks and lead the development of messaging to navigate complex industry issues.
Impact Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize data-driven insights to refine tactics and prove the business value of communications initiatives.
Qualifications & Leadership Profile
The Background: 6–8+ years of experience in Corporate Communications or PR. A mix of Agency and In-House experience is highly preferred.
The Strategist: Proven ability to synthesize complex business information into clear, compelling narratives for diverse stakeholder groups.
The Leader: Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing relationships with external agencies and internal C-suite executives.
Precision Writing: Mastery of the written word, with the ability to ghostwrite for executives and produce "client-ready" content under tight deadlines.
Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of managing large-scale initiatives and budgets simultaneously.
The Mindset: A proactive, "no-task-too-small" attitude combined with the "big-picture" vision required to drive long-term brand growth.
