National Sales Manager – Off-Price Retail

We are partnering with a growing consumer goods company to find a National Sales Manager who will lead and expand key off-price retail accounts. This is a high-impact role focused on driving revenue, building strong buyer relationships, and owning the full sales cycle across major retailers.


This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience working with off-price or value retail channels.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own and grow national accounts across major off-price retailers (including TJX and Ross)
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including product presentations, pricing, negotiations, and closing
  • Partner with internal teams (product development, sourcing, operations) to align product offerings with market demand
  • Present seasonal assortments and identify opportunistic buys
  • Analyze sales performance, margins, and inventory to drive profitability
  • Forecast demand and manage pipeline to support production planning
  • Stay up to date on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity


What We’re Looking For:

  • 5–10+ years of sales experience within consumer goods
  • Experience working with off-price or value retail channels strongly preferred
  • Proven success managing national accounts (TJX, Ross, or similar retailers is a big plus)
  • Strong relationships with retail buyers in categories like home, gifting, accessories, or personal care
  • Ability to manage high-volume sales in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting and sales performance tracking


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with products such as candles, gifting, journals, or personal care
  • Background in private label, import programs, or direct sourcing
  • Familiarity with seasonal and trend-driven merchandising


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $85,000 – $95,000
  • Bonus/Commission
  • Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
