National Sales Manager – Off-Price Retail
We are partnering with a growing consumer goods company to find a National Sales Manager who will lead and expand key off-price retail accounts. This is a high-impact role focused on driving revenue, building strong buyer relationships, and owning the full sales cycle across major retailers.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience working with off-price or value retail channels.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own and grow national accounts across major off-price retailers (including TJX and Ross)
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Manage the full sales cycle, including product presentations, pricing, negotiations, and closing
- Partner with internal teams (product development, sourcing, operations) to align product offerings with market demand
- Present seasonal assortments and identify opportunistic buys
- Analyze sales performance, margins, and inventory to drive profitability
- Forecast demand and manage pipeline to support production planning
- Stay up to date on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–10+ years of sales experience within consumer goods
- Experience working with off-price or value retail channels strongly preferred
- Proven success managing national accounts (TJX, Ross, or similar retailers is a big plus)
- Strong relationships with retail buyers in categories like home, gifting, accessories, or personal care
- Ability to manage high-volume sales in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting and sales performance tracking
Nice to Have:
- Experience with products such as candles, gifting, journals, or personal care
- Background in private label, import programs, or direct sourcing
- Familiarity with seasonal and trend-driven merchandising
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $85,000 – $95,000
- Bonus/Commission
