BAS Account Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Automation Account Manager to lead client relationships, drive sales, and support the growth of our building automation solutions in the Tampa area. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in building automation systems and excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and new prospects within the Tampa market.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in building automation and controls systems.
• Present and demonstrate building automation solutions tailored to client needs.
• Provide technical support and consultation to clients regarding system functionality, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate project delivery, installation, and commissioning activities with technical teams.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
• Monitor project progress, ensure timely completion, and address any issues that arise.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitive offerings.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company’s building automation portfolio.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and opportunities in CRM systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building automation, controls, or HVAC systems sales/management.
• Strong technical understanding of building automation systems (e.g., BACnet, LonWorks, Tridium, etc.).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Management, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Tampa area.

Preferred Skills:

Industry certifications (e.g., BAS, HVAC, or related).

Experience with project management and technical consulting.

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
