Job Title:
Negotiation Sales Company:
Valor Technical Cleaning Location:
8000 S Chester Street Centennial, CO 80112 Employment Type: Full-Time
About Valor Technical Cleaning Valor Technical Cleaning provides professional technical cleaning solutions for a range of emergencies, including crime scene cleanup, unattended death cleanup, decomposition, suicide cleanup, and biohazard remediation. We were founded by U.S. Army veterans with a service mindset and a proven history of serving others in their times of greatest needs. We operate with care, compassion, and extreme professionalism. Valor has developed and strongly emphasizes a fast-paced, non-hierarchical, collaborative and communication-driven culture. Employees who operate well without a defined playbook and like a fluid work environment without a well-defined daily task list and schedule will thrive at Valor. Embracing and buying-in to this culture is critical to your future success at the Company. We highly value employees who dig in and get the job done, regardless of their title or role in the Company, and get more satisfaction from completing jobs than managing or directing others. We are results driven, detail oriented, fast-moving and success driven. We like to win; for us, it’s personal - make no excuses, blame no one, and go do it!
Position Overview We are seeking a highly strategic, experienced professional to join our team as an Insurance Negotiation Specialist. This role is critical to our success—focused on driving revenue growth by expanding job scopes and securing fair, optimized payouts from insurance carriers on crime scene / biohazard remediation projects. This is not a typical sales role. You will operate at the intersection of technical restoration expertise, insurance knowledge, and high-level negotiation, working behind the scenes to ensure our work is properly valued and compensated.

Qualifications 3+ years of experience in restoration/remediation (crime scene, biohazard, water, fire, mold, etc.) Proven background in sales, account management, or revenue-driving roles Direct experience negotiating with insurance companies and adjusters Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and documentation requirements Proficiency in estimating software (Xactimate preferred) Exceptional negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills Highly analytical with strong attention to detail Ability to think strategically and operate independently
What Makes This Role Unique High-impact, revenue-driving position within a growing company Strategic influence over project profitability and company success Opportunity to work complex, challenging claims that require skill and creativity Collaborative team environment with strong field and leadership support

You don’t just accept “no” from carriers—you know how to strategically push back, justify scope, and win. You are hands-on in every aspect of the negotiation process—reviewing estimates line-by-line, identifying gaps in scope, researching standards, framing arguments, and directly engaging with adjusters to drive outcomes. You don’t rely on others to do the work—you own it end-to-end.
