Position Overview

The Executive Producer serves as the senior production lead at Unboxed Group, responsible for overseeing the successful execution of large scale experiential projects from concept to completion. This role bridges creative vision and operational excellence, balancing high level strategy with leadership to ensure every project reflects Unboxed’s commitment to quality, innovation, and impact.

The Executive Producer provides direction and oversight across multiple programs simultaneously, guiding Producers and cross functional teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors. They operate confidently at both the strategic and executional levels by shaping creative narratives, managing complex logistics in the field and ensuring every detail aligns with the overall brand and business goals.

What You’ll Do:

Project Oversight & Execution

Oversee multiple active projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, deliverables, and creative goals are met. Own the end-to-end production lifecycle, including strategy, planning, execution, delivery, and post-project evaluation. Anticipate risks and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on schedule, within scope, and aligned with profitability goals. Maintain high-level visibility on project health, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.

Client Communication & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for all client communications regarding production. Ensure timely, clear, and accurate communication with clients regarding project updates, deliverables, and potential issues. Manage client expectations, provide project updates, and maintain strong, long-term relationships. Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure client requests are executed efficiently and on time.

Budget & Profitability Management

Own all project budgets from planning through final reconciliation. Monitor costs closely, ensuring adherence to profitability guidelines and identifying opportunities to improve financial outcomes. Approve and oversee vendor selection, contracts, and purchase orders. Track actual vs. projected spend, flagging issues, and recommending corrective action to maintain budget targets.

RFP & Business Development

Lead the development, review, and submission of multiple RFPs concurrently. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure proposals are accurate, compelling, and aligned with client needs. Support business development initiatives by providing production insight, feasibility assessment, and budget guidance.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Direct project teams, including Producers, Coordinators, and external vendors, fostering accountability and alignment. Delegate responsibilities effectively, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure team success. Lead project meetings, status calls, and stakeholder updates with clarity and authority. Oversee workflow and task completion across project teams, escalating issues to the Head of Production as needed.

Process & Quality Oversight

Establish and enforce production standards, workflows, and best practices across projects. Ensure all project documentation, trackers, and operational systems are accurate, complete, and accessible. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency, team collaboration, and quality control.

Experience You Bring: 10+ years of progressive experience in event production, experiential marketing or integrated agency environments. Proven success leading multimillion-dollar programs and cross functional teams. Strong financial acumen and experience managing large scale budgets. Deep vendor, venue, and partner relationships across the industry. Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).

Additional Requirements: 25% travel expected Flexibility to work non-traditional hours based on event schedules. Physical requirements include sitting for extended periods, standing/walking for onsite work, lifting/moving of up to 25 pounds and occasionally heavier items. While working onsite, must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions as needed. Must have a personal vehicle for occasional local travel - mileage compensation provided. A valid driver’s license

Perks & Compensation
