Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, alignment, and execution of process engineering systems and best practices across the Lewistown and McElhattan facilities. Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Engineering to drive divisional efficiency, standardization, and productivity initiatives. Lead and support continuous improvement, scrap reduction, and lean manufacturing projects using Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, and other data-driven tools. Establish engineering standards, systems, and performance metrics to ensure consistent quality, reliability, and productivity. Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on process excellence, reliability, and automation. Provide expertise in data analytics, centerlining, reliability engineering, and process validation to enhance system performance. Oversee training programs and workshops for plant personnel, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials and processes meet design specifications and compliance standards. Prepare and manage budgets, capital expenditure requests (CERs), and productivity projects. Serve as both a hands-on technical leader and a strategic partner, capable of operating independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering is required. 10+ years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, including leading large-scale continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum of 5 years working with business and data systems supporting process optimization. Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification preferred. Proven expertise in SPC, DOE, and data analytics tools with demonstrated results in reducing waste and improving efficiency. Strong
automation, equipment, and process design
knowledge. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills — able to influence across multiple sites. Hands-on, self-directed, and adaptable leader with a track record of implementing change and fostering collaboration. Experience supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations preferred.
Facilities Overview: Lewistown:
26 production lines and a 10-story automated storage & retrieval system (ASRS) warehouse. McElhattan : 19 production lines for healthcare products. Nutek Disposables (McElhattan):
3 wipes lines, 1 spunlace line, and 7 injection molding lines.
Additional Information: Initial role will have no direct reports, but will expand to include several managers and senior engineers as the division grows. Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.
