Location: Remote (must be local to Spokane, WA or Renton, WA for equipment pickup or in case of tech/outages)

Duration: Contract To Permanent (520 hours)

Pay Range: $16 - $20 per hour (Based on location)

Schedule: Variable shifts between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday (40 hours per week) Overview Medix is hiring Member Services Representatives to join our client supporting healthcare members across Washington State. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for members, handling inbound inquiries related to benefits, billing, claims, and healthcare services. This is a high-volume call center environment that requires strong customer service skills, adaptability, and empathy.

Responsibilities ? Handle inbound member calls regarding benefits, billing, claims, enrollment, and general healthcare inquiries. ? Assist members with understanding premium amounts, provider availability, coverage options, and claims status. ? Support members with online portal navigation and account updates. ? Provide accurate, timely information and ensure members feel supported and informed. ? Navigate sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism when handling complaints or escalated concerns. ? Participate in a comprehensive training program (virtual classroom setting), followed by a guided nesting period with live call support and coaching. ? Maintain attendance and reliability standards, especially during training.

Training ? Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (first 3 weeks). ? Attendance: 100% mandatory for training period. ? Nesting period (2-3 weeks) with mentor support and daily feedback sessions following training.

Qualifications Required: ? High School Diploma or GED. ? Minimum 1 year of call center experience. ? Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle a wide range of call types.

Preferred: ? Previous healthcare or insurance experience.

Dependability and reliability - attendance is critical for success in this role. Additional Details ? Equipment provided by Medix client. ? Must be able to pass compliance requirements, including background check and drug screen (marijuana included).
