I'm working with a major American Airline, looking to hire a Learning Strategy Instructional Designer!
Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL - 3x a week onsite Contract Duration: 6 month contract Hourly rate: $30.50/hr
About this role: Design, develop, and maintain eLearning, instructor-led, blended learning, and virtual training materials, including facilitator guides, end-user guides, and learning activities Apply Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology to create engaging, learner-centric content Execute project tasks and coordinate activities within a program’s workstream Manage complex learning projects with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs), ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets Develop and lead train-the-trainer sessions and support instructor-led training as needed
Experience: 3+ years of experience in instructional design and learning development Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Rise, Articulate 360 Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and solution-oriented mindset
