Consumer Loan Specialist Location:
5555 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, United States, 4 days a week onsite Pay:
$18/hr Type:
3 month contract with extensions
Must Haves: High School Diploma or GED 1–3 years of experience in a processing or administrative role Basic knowledge of mortgage loans and mortgage documentation Comfortable using PC and internet-based tools Advanced Excel skills
Plus: Experience using the Mortgage Servicing Package (MSP) system Prior customer service experience Familiarity with recasts, partial releases, and mortgage modifications
About the Role: This role supports mortgage operations by processing loan documentation, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with day‑to‑day administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has prior processing or administrative experience and a basic understanding of mortgage loans and documentation.
Responsibilities: Process and review mortgage-related documents accurately and efficiently Perform administrative and data entry tasks related to loan files Maintain accurate records across internal systems and internet-based tools Support internal teams by responding to requests and ensuring files are complete Assist with customer service needs related to mortgage documentation Follow established procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy
