Senior Product Owner - Aegis (Dallas)

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Owner who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and approaches product development with a builder’s mindset. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in ambiguity, engages directly with customers, and focuses on solving meaningful problems—not just delivering features.

You will lead the development of innovative, data-driven and AI-enabled products, partnering closely with engineering, design, and data teams to turn ideas into measurable outcomes. This role blends strategic product leadership with hands-on execution, experimentation, and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities Own Problems, Not Just Features Identify and validate high-value customer problems through research, direct engagement, and data analysis Define clear problem statements, hypotheses, and success metrics Prioritize initiatives based on business impact and strategic value Lead Product Discovery & Strategy Conduct voice-of-customer research, including interviews and feedback analysis Translate insights into product direction, roadmaps, and experiment-driven outcomes Develop personas, user journeys, and opportunity areas to inform decision-making Build Data-Driven & AI-Enabled Products Partner with engineering and data teams to deliver data-driven and AI-enabled solutions Define requirements, use cases, and align business needs with technical delivery Understand data models, system impacts, and trade-offs to guide decisions Run Experiments & Drive Outcomes Design and execute experiments (A/B testing, pilots, rapid iterations) Measure product and business performance, adjusting direction based on insights Communicate progress through reporting, dashboards, and release updates Lead Cross-Functional Execution Collaborate with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver outcomes Maintain and prioritize a well-defined product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria Lead Agile ceremonies including planning, refinement, and retrospectives Support user acceptance testing, defect management, and successful product delivery Qualifications 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership within Agile environments Experience building or supporting data-driven and/or AI-enabled products Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous, or high-growth environments Strong experience partnering with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data, business stakeholders) Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria Experience using data, analytics, and customer insights to drive decisions and prioritization Hands-on experience with experimentation, iteration, and outcome measurement Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience supporting UAT, impact analysis, and product readiness Preferred Experience Experience building products from early-stage or scaling environments Familiarity with AI/ML product development, experimentation frameworks, or model evaluation Experience with product analytics tools and A/B testing platforms Comfort working in less structured environments and shaping unclear problems into actionable plans Work Environment Hybrid work model with in-office collaboration several days per week Fast-paced, product-focused environment with a startup-like mindset Opportunity to work on innovative, AI-driven solutions with strong organizational backing
