We are looking for an exceptional, imaginative Social Media Content Specialist to join our team in a vibrant hybrid role. Bring the mosque and campus community to life on video and architect our creative vision! What You’ll Do
Film & Edit:
Film high-quality content at the mosque and edit it into engaging Reels and TikToks. Analyze:
Review post performance to understand what resonates with our community. Plan:
Help create and manage a dynamic weekly schedule for our social media pages. Stay Current:
Keep up with the latest trends to keep our content fresh. Local & Flexible:
Able to work from home while visiting the DCA campus regularly for active filming. Highly Creative:
Pitch for photos, videos, and editing using tools such as CapCut and Canva. Organized:
Manage a content calendar and consistently meet deadlines. Respectful:
Film mosque activities with care, etiquette, and excellence. Visual Storytelling:
Frame shots to capture the vibrant, authentic campus atmosphere. Algorithm Savvy:
Understand what makes videos engage, including hooks, trending audio, and retention strategies. Interpersonal Skills:
Approach community members and leaders for engaging interviews. Hybrid Work:
Balance remote planning with on-site creative execution days. Creative Freedom:
Autonomy to pitch, direct, and execute your own content ideas. Community Impact:
Highlight the diverse, culture-rich activities of the DCA. Professional Growth:
Develop your content strategy experience within a large community organization. Experience & Skills:
Experience managing social media accounts with high engagement or viral reach; strong video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, or similar). On-Camera & Interviewing:
Prepare thoughtful questions and lead short, compelling interviews for video features. Travel:
Ability to travel to the DCA campus in Lanham, MD for scheduled on-site filming. Analytics:
Deep knowledge of social media analytics and proven growth tracking strategies. Required Qualifications
