Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Paralegal to join the Corporate Litigation group in Anaheim, California. The role assists in‑house attorneys and outside counsel with all facets of case preparation and a variety of litigation matters, including employment, personal injury, consumer, and disability access.
What You Will Do
Provide support for legal matters, including litigation and advice and counsel.
Assist with document collection from various business units.
Review and analyse documents using an electronic discovery database.
Prepare responses and reports related to claims, demand letters, and litigation requests.
Review and revise pleadings, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.
Assist with witness interviews and depositions.
Assist with responding to subpoenas.
Assist with small claims matters and responses to administrative complaints.
Draft and issue legal holds.
Manage and report information across a variety of matters.
Coordinate and attend site inspections across the Disneyland Resort premises.
Adapt to a 24‑hour operation with flexible scheduling for after‑hours inspections and witness interviews.
Required Qualifications & Skills
At least 3 years of litigation experience in a reputable law firm or major in‑house legal department.
Ability to handle multiple cases and responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to conduct legal and factual research.
Experience in document collection and electronic discovery.
Experience in fact‑finding, reporting, and document management.
Excellent communication skills and judgment, both verbally and in writing.
Prior work experience at the Disneyland Resort or a Disney‑affiliated company is a plus.
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree and/or qualifications to be a paralegal by certification or education and work experience as set forth by the American Bar Association and/or any applicable state codes.
Benefits The hiring range for this position in the greater Los Angeles area is $87,100 to $116,800 per year based on a 40‑hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
