The Private Markets Product team is pioneering the development of index solutions within private markets, a new and innovative area. This team is dedicated to breaking new ground and finding solutions that will democratize access to private markets and enhance operational efficiency. The Product Manager will play a key role in developing our Private Markets index solutions, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and strategic alignment. This role involves pioneering new indices and methodologies to enhance transparency, access, and efficiency within private equity, private credit, and real assets. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with commercial and operational teams, requiring both technical expertise and a forward‑thinking approach.

Responsibilities

Contribute towards the development and success of innovative product lines in private equity, private credit and real assets, identifying new opportunities and operational efficiencies.

Collaborate with client coverage and marketing teams to strengthen client relationships and promote new solutions.

Lead product engagement and education initiatives, serving as an expert on innovative methodologies that enhance efficiency.

Coordinate product launch processes, championing them through to completion.

Publish thought‑leadership materials, participate in marketing events and contribute to product innovation and efficiency improvements.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $104,435.00 – $144,040.00. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.

What We’re Looking For

5–6+ years of experience in product management within private markets, fixed income or related innovative sectors.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related field.

Ideally, experience in product development.

Excellent analytical, quantitative and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a global mindset.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Master’s degree in a relevant field or CFA charter.

Familiarity with analytical platforms (FactSet, Bloomberg).

Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving, innovation and efficiency enhancement.
