Job Description
Director, Current (Fox Scripted Studios, LLC; Los Angeles, California):
Responsibilities:
Support the execution of current programming for FOX Entertainment Studios’ scripted slate, including series produced for the FOX network and third-party buyers (e.g., streamers, cable networks).
Manage day-to-day operations of active series, ensuring productions remain on schedule, on budget, and aligned with creative expectations.
Serve as a primary liaison between showrunners, executive producers, and internal teams, escalating key issues to the VP as needed.
Coordinate closely with Business Affairs, Production, Finance, and Creative teams to ensure alignment across timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Track and review series budgets post‑greenlight, flagging risks, overages, and efficiencies for leadership.
Oversee post‑production timelines and workflows, ensuring all deliverables meet network and partner specifications.
Prepare and maintain internal reporting for current series, including cost tracking, production updates, and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Film Direction, Creative Writing, Cinematic Arts or related field.
Experience Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.
Technical Skills: Movie Magic Budgeting, Movie Magic Scheduling, Final Draft, Final Cut Pro, Evercast, Frame.io, PIX.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $128,345.00–141,179.50 annually.
Benefits include medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
Benefits for union‑represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
