About the Role As a Skill Builder at our Addictions and Recovery Center, you will provide behavioral therapy, intensive rehabilitation, wellness education, and post‑treatment support to individuals with substance use disorders. You will be the catalyst to rebuild lives, working within a mission of whole‑person healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel, monitor, and support individuals experiencing substance use and mental illness disorders.
Evaluate, prepare, and implement case management plans.
Organize and conduct client skills‑training groups and education sessions.
Assist with maintaining 24/7 staff coverage; work other shifts as needed.
Assess and monitor residents’ behaviors and intervene appropriately.
Crisis intervention.
Prepare and maintain written case records, reports, and forms, including follow‑up and closure.
Maintain Meridian Health Services standards, policies, procedures, and regulations in accordance with local, state and federal laws and ethical standards of the profession.
Qualifications We are seeking compassionate, motivated individuals passionate about whole‑person care and who thrive in a collaborative, team‑based environment. Experience in behavioral health or social services is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years behavioral health experience or equivalent college coursework toward a human services or health‑related degree required; associate degree preferred.
