Your Opportunity
The role of a Civil Designer or EIT is to work independently and as a team member on a wide range of exciting projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Project Manager. Projects include commercial, industrial, residential, and municipal work across the state of New Mexico and within Arizona and Texas as needed. A Civil Designer or EIT will perform a variety of tasks which may include analysis, calculations, preparation of exhibits,and construction documents. The projects that a Civil Designer/EIT may be assigned to may be broad, varied, and diverse in scope. Your Key Responsibilities
Perform and assist with all aspects of civil engineering design including layout/geometry, grading, drainage, paving, water, sewer, and erosion control. Prepare complete submission packages, supporting calculations, quantity and cost estimates, project schedules, and other duties. Assist project manager / project engineer with consultant and project team coordination. Perform planning activities, including project research, assessment of project feasibility Utilizes CAD in development of three-dimensional models of civil systems. Conducts quality assurance and quality control on projects. Assists in the development of new standards and processes for the civil group.
