A company is looking for a Patient Account Associate to provide exceptional customer service and manage account handling processes.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and document payment details, making adjustments to payment postings as necessary Initiate and manage payer recoupments, refunds, and follow up to ensure account resolution Navigate payer claim portals and interpret payer contracts to ensure accurate account coding
Required Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of revenue cycle and health insurance payers Experience in reading and understanding payer contracts and EOBs Proficient in payment handling and coordination of benefits Ability to train and mentor new and existing associates Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
