
Director, Corporate Strategy and Analytics

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze market dynamics, competitor strategies, therapeutic landscapes, trial designs, and commercialization approaches to inform Janux’s portfolio prioritization and differentiation strategy.
Drive the development and execution of strategic plans, create and maintain competitive landscape dashboards, conduct in-depth analyses, and design frameworks and tools that accelerate decision-making.
Prepare high-impact materials and deliver compelling presentations to the Leadership Team and Board.
Partner with New Product Planning, Portfolio Strategy, and R&D to shape Janux’s story and influence program teams on business strategies for target markets.
Develop and oversee valuation models (DCF, comparables, scenario analyses) for portfolio decisions and global expansion opportunities.
Lead strategic analyses delegated by Executive Leadership and drive decision-making across workstreams.
Develop and oversee valuation models (DCF, comparables, scenario analyses) for portfolio decisions and expansion opportunities.
Collaborate with Business Development on partnering strategy and lead Search & Evaluation efforts.
Collaborate with the Portfolio Strategy team to identify and shape key internal and external business opportunities, building robust analytical frameworks to guide strategic assessments.
Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence framework within oncology and immunology, particularly relating to Janux’s pipeline.
Monitor oncology and immunotherapy industry trends and assess their impact on corporate strategy.
Synthesize market insights, analytics, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and inform portfolio decisions.
Perform other tasks as necessary.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
BA/BS required; MBA or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred.
10+ years of experience in biotech/pharma competitive intelligence, with a strong preference for oncology and autoimmune modalities.
Strong analytical skillset with significant forecast modeling experience.
Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to influence at senior levels.
Advanced understanding of competitive intelligence processes, ethics, and compliance.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative biotech environment.
