Salary Range: $170,000.00 To $170,000.00 Annually

Role Description We are currently looking for a Director of Operations at Apotheco Management Group LLC. The Director of Operations will be responsible for initiating operations and managing Apotheco Pharmacy Group pharmacies within their designated region. Working with the management team to maintain and increase efficiency, quality, and customer service levels in daily operation, as well as executing department goals, this position requires on‑site management in the field representing up to 80% of the Director of Operations responsibility. This role must reside within the division territory/Mid West territory and will require travel to other satellite locations.

Training Requirements: The individual will need to satisfactorily complete 3 management/supervisor training courses within the first 6 months of the position.

Education/Experience: Have earned a degree in Pharmacy (B.S. or Pharm D) is required from an accredited pharmacy school. Have had at least 5 years’ experience in pharmacy management and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Train staff on all aspects of Apotheco Pharmacy Group site operations and develop a culture of constant focus on process improvement.

Supervise and hold accountable all employees of Apotheco pharmacies to established pharmacy SOPs and P&Ps.

Provide ongoing, continuous management oversight as a coach who is concerned with the growth and development of employees.

Ensure compliance with all Board of Pharmacy and Federal / DEA laws and regulations.

Comply with all HIPAA rules and regulations.

Ensure security measures are taken to avoid theft or loss within pharmacy sites.

Ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered to all patients and customers.

Design and implement services and processes that are responsive to patients’ needs and support exceptional customer service.

Communicate openly and honestly on a regular basis with employees and supervisors to ensure all goals are being met.

Responsible for financial performance of all sites. This includes correct staffing levels, inventory management, billing, collections, purchasing, and other metrics as determined by senior leadership.

Responsible for continued growth in volume of all sites. This is through introduction of new programs, sales to other facilities, and capturing of existing clients within the facility.

Serve as liaison between Apotheco pharmacies and the dermatology clinics and prescribers we serve.

Coordinate all aspects of implementation of new pharmacy sites. This includes visiting site construction, BOP licensing, recruiting, and hiring of employees.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and e‑mail as noted below.
