Overview As a Senior Solutions Architect, Post‑Sales, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and delivering single and multi‑vendor networking solutions. You will have the opportunity to work within an industry‑leading professional services team to understand our clients’ needs and deploy the IT systems to meet those business outcomes.

Your Impact A Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for implementing network IT solutions including installation, upgrades and reconfigurations to our client’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), datacenters and cloud infrastructures.

Essential Functions

Provide deployment and implementation services of multi‑vendor solutions

Act as the primary technical lead for projects involving several engineering teams, overseeing planning, workload distribution, technical decision‑making, and successful project outcomes

Provide expertise in assessment of customer environments and make recommendations for functionality, capacity, performance, and resilience

Provide written documentation including configurations, procedures and high‑level and low‑level network design diagrams (HLD/LLD)

Be an escalation point for teammates and help manage project issues

Stay current with vendor offerings and technology

Serve the customer to ePlus’ standards

Be available as a resource to pre‑sales to guide and validate jobs

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership to engineering teams

Proven experience leading large‑scale network modernization or migration projects.

Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executives and stakeholders

Strong vendor management and ability to lead technical discussions with partners and customers.

Ability to mentor engineers, teach best practices, and guide architectural decision‑making

Proven ability to lead troubleshooting efforts during high‑severity incidents

Must be fully knowledgeable and able to design and plan, implement and support IT solutions using a majority of the following technologies:

Networking (routing and switching) including Cisco Catalyst and Nexus, and Meraki

Experience with Aruba, Extreme, or Arista is a plus

Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco ISE, including SDA fabric design, device onboarding, policy orchestration, and SGT‑based segmentation

WiFi including Cisco, Meraki, Aruba Central and Juniper MIST

Firewall/ Security including Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto and Fortinet

Cisco ACI, including fabric setup, policy modeling, and tenant/VRF design

8–12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, network architecture, and technical leadership.

Multiple industry‑recognized certifications. i.e.: CCNA, CCNP, PSE, ACE

CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, or CCNP Wireless (highly desirable)

CCIE (Enterprise/Security/Wireless) strongly preferred

Additional certifications such as AWS/Azure Architect, CWNP, or Palo Alto Networks certs are a plus

Ability to travel to customer locations, primarily in New England region

Professional customer service skills on video conference and in person

Position Specifics The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $190,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
