A company is looking for an Actuarial Director to lead development, pricing, reserving, risk adjustment, and financial forecasting for individual products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine actuarial pricing models and analyze claims experience to inform pricing strategy Establish IBNR reserve estimates and prepare actuarial accruals to support financial processes Collaborate with Product and Benefit Design teams on market expansion and product launch strategies
Required Qualifications
5-10 years of actuarial experience in health insurance or managed care Expertise in Individual/ACA lines of business, including pricing and regulatory compliance Proficiency in actuarial and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python Strong understanding of ACA market structure and CMS reporting requirements Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and FSA or ASA designation with progression toward Fellowship
