A company is looking for an Import Compliance Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Support customs compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulations and internal controls Interface with customs brokers and carriers to resolve import/export operational issues Conduct compliance reviews and audits, and analyze import/export data for risk and cost-saving opportunities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in Trade Compliance or Brokerage environment; Licensed Customs Broker preferred Strong knowledge of Free Trade, Duty Drawback, HTS, and export regulations Familiarity with US and Canadian product regulations including FDA and EPA Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
