The opportunity Our Government & Public Sector (GPS) Digital Engineering practice is helping organizations solve complex problems through purpose‑led transformation. We support U.S. government agencies with digital strategy, customer experience, process improvement, technology effectiveness, digital architecture, and program integration.

Your key responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the final product meets their needs.

Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.

Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that support business objectives.

Participate in the design of software components, translating requirements into technical design and tasks.

Communicate effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives.

Provide estimates for assigned tasks.

Write reliable, scalable code independently.

Analyze and resolve moderate to complex problems during development and support; document and communicate results.

Participate in white‑boarding sessions and impact analysis; explore methods and tools to improve the development process.

Learn new client information quickly; translate data modeling, process modeling, and revision control systems.

Apply agile delivery and development methodologies.

Use application development tools and quality assurance practices.

Skills and attributes for success

Experience gathering and analyzing requirements.

Designing and developing user interfaces.

Participating in the design of software components.

Effective communication with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives.

Independent writing of quality code.

Rapid learning of new client information; translating data and process modeling.

Strong understanding of agile delivery and development methodologies.

Proficiency in application development tools and quality assurance practices.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Experience with Microsoft Power Pages (Portals) and Liquid.

Experience integrating with external systems.

Five or more years of relevant total experience.

Comfortable working in‑person as needed.

Ideally, you'll also have

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to collaborate with clients and identify engagement follow‑on opportunities.

A comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range between $102,500 and $187,900 in the U.S. (regional ranges apply). The package also includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
