A company is looking for a VP of Underwriting (Non-Agency).
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite conventional and government loans while maintaining service level agreements Provide guidance and solutions for complex underwriting scenarios and escalations Manage a team of underwriters and assist in special projects as directed by management
Required Qualifications
Direct Endorsement status from HUD and/or SAR authority from VA, with USDA experience preferred 5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting Experience (FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional) with agency guideline knowledge preferred 3+ years of Underwriting management experience preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Working knowledge of ATR/QM requirements and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
