A company is looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel to support Sales, partnerships, and product development in a regulated fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements within the payments and financial services ecosystem Act as a strategic legal partner to Sales, advising on deal structure and negotiation strategy Partner with Product, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance in product development
Required Qualifications
8+ years of legal experience, with a focus on commercial contracting; 10+ years preferred JD (or equivalent) and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction Experience in fintech, payments, or consumer finance, advising on regulatory considerations Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functions Practical experience with AI-enabled legal tools or contract lifecycle management systems
