A company is looking for an Inside Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the underwriting process ensuring adherence to carrier guidelines and company policies Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside binding authority Develop and maintain relationships with binding-authority and brokerage carriers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or appropriate insurance designation Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or specialty insurance products Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance Ability to manage the underwriting and brokerage process independently Strong knowledge of underwriting practices relevant to the accounts handled
