Key Responsibilities
Evaluate mortgage loan applications for compliance with policies and regulations Analyze borrower financials, credit reports, and property appraisals to determine eligibility Collaborate with processors, loan officers, and stakeholders to resolve questions and expedite the process
Qualifications
Active DE and VA underwriting certification required Must have used DE and VA designation within the last 11 months Minimum 5 years of residential mortgage underwriting experience Proven history of longevity in prior roles Strong understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, Non-QM, and Jumbo products
