RegalCare at Quincy, a premier skilled nursing facility, is seeking a passionate and creative Activities Director to lead and coordinate engaging programs that enhance the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing, and implementing a monthly calendar of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities
- Engaging residents through one‑on‑one and group programs that promote wellness, cognitive stimulation, and enjoyment
- Working closely with interdisciplinary teams to meet individual care plans and preferences
- Coordinating special events, holiday celebrations, and community involvement
- Supervising and training activities assistants and volunteers
Qualifications
- Prior experience in recreational programming or a related field in a healthcare setting preferred
- Certification as an Activities Director or eligibility to obtain certification
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Compassion, energy, and a positive attitude
