MUST HAVES
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Proven multi-site manufacturing leadership experience
- Food manufacturing experience required
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and TPM
- Operational P&L accountability and strong financial acumen
- Working knowledge of SQF Level III, HACCP, GMPs, and audit compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Food Science, or related field
We are seeking a high-impact Regional Manufacturing Director - Multi-site to provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple manufacturing facilities. This executive‑level role is responsible for driving performance in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people development while strengthening operational consistency across the region.
The ideal candidate is a proven multi‑site leader who can elevate plant performance, build strong leadership teams, and drive measurable operational and financial improvements.
Regional Operational Leadership
- Lead multiple manufacturing plants within an assigned region
- Provide direct oversight to Plant Managers and site leadership teams
- Ensure consistent execution of safety, quality, cost, delivery, and engagement standards
- Oversee Production, Maintenance, Scheduling, Sanitation, and Warehouse Operations
- Align processes and performance expectations across all facilities
- Escalate critical risks and performance gaps to executive leadership
Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and execute regional manufacturing strategies to improve competitiveness and profitability
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and TPM initiatives to maximize reliability and efficiency
- Drive measurable improvements in productivity, service levels, cost control, and margin expansion
- Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee empowerment
Financial & Performance Management
- Own regional operating performance including budgeting and cost management
- Monitor and improve KPIs across all sites
- Identify waste reduction and asset utilization opportunities
- Optimize materials planning and inventory strategies to improve cash flow
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Champion a strong safety culture focused on injury reduction and compliance
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Maintain compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and third‑party audit standards
- Partner with Quality to ensure product integrity and audit readiness
People & Leadership Development
- Coach and develop Plant Managers and leadership teams
- Build succession plans and ensure leadership continuity
- Partner with HR to enhance engagement and performance management
- Establish clear performance standards and accountability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, Purchasing, EH&S, and Quality
- Support new product introductions by evaluating manufacturing feasibility and cost
- Ensure coordination between production, planning, and distribution to achieve service goals
