Role Summary Join Spring Health’s Member Growth team to lead end‑to‑end product design that increases the number of people who utilize Spring benefits, find the right care, and improve the member platform experience. You will co‑lead a pod with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Marketing to execute our product strategy through experiments and other investments, removing barriers to mental health worldwide.
Responsibilities
Work with your pod to identify and understand user problems across identification, activation, engagement, and retention initiatives.
Partner with cross‑functional teammates to validate the most important and impactful problems and how to solve them.
Design solutions that test hypotheses and deliver signals for further improvements.
Ship high‑quality work that improves members’ experience with their benefits, whatever their goals may be.
Collaborate with design, product, engineering, data science, and marketing to create meaningful and measurable impacts on Spring’s member funnel.
Help others across the organization understand design decisions and progress through high‑quality documentation and guidance.
Combine empathy, curiosity, and inspiration to develop unique approaches that differentiate Spring and broaden interest in mental health.
Success Criteria
Impact on product and business metrics by increasing conversion, engagement, or retention rates through key areas of Spring’s member funnel.
Maintain or improve the Member Experience’s high System Usability Scale (SUS).
Balance impact and velocity: ship iterative experiments that focus equally on impact and learning.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of product design experience at a software company, contributing to and leading design of product experiences with a hypothesis‑driven experiment culture.
Portfolio demonstrating work in a growth design role with measurable impact on acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, or monetization.
Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science to create a shared vision of success.
Strong communication skills for articulating, discussing, and advocating design decisions.
Team‑player mindset and ability to solve problems with purpose and urgency.
Comfortable using data and experiments to evaluate hypotheses and make decisions.
Genuine interest in building accessible and inclusive products, with knowledge of current accessibility and usability standards.
Proficiency in Figma and prototyping; front‑end development skills are a plus.
Passion for continual improvement and a love for design that goes beyond the status quo.
