Overview
Salesforce is seeking an experienced Manager / Sr. Manager to join the GTM Growth Strategy team. The role focuses on defining, activating, and executing revenue-growth initiatives to unlock growth in underpenetrated markets/segments and drive impactful opportunities. You will partner with Sales and cross-functional leaders to conduct current-state analysis, develop revenue models, and optimize the GTM model. This role involves strategic programs, multi-product GTM design for AI and consumption offerings, GTM framework development, market segmentation, pipeline analysis, performance measurement, and creating executive-ready presentation decks. GTM Growth & Optimization Initiatives:
Lead analysis and discovery of current-state sales performance, GTM models, and market opportunities; identify strengths, deficiencies, and strategic changes to increase sales growth, consumption, and productivity. Business Case Modeling:
Develop models to quantify topline impact of GTM initiatives with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders. GTM Framework Development:
Create and refine frameworks to guide long-term growth across specialization, solutions, and acquisitions. Market Expansion Initiatives:
Lead strategic growth efforts to enter new markets and address region-specific product needs, including data-center considerations. Consumption GTM Strategy:
Design roles, responsibilities, and metrics, with Customer Consumed Revenue as a north-star metric. Leadership Presentations:
Develop and deliver executive-ready presentations on GTM initiatives and inform decisions. Multi-Stakeholder Alignment:
Align cross-functional plans for GTM growth and embed operational excellence during execution. Broad Relationship Building:
Build and influence relationships across Sales, Customer Success, Partners, Professional Services, Finance, Product, and IT. Basic Requirements
Experience:
4–8 years in GTM/Sales strategy at a top strategy consulting firm or high-growth SaaS company; B2B GTM exposure preferred. Education:
BS/BA or equivalent; MBA preferred but not required. Strategic & Analytical Acumen:
Strong strategic thinking and data-analysis skills; experience building models and analyzing datasets using Excel and/or Tableau; SQL a plus but not required. Leadership & Influence:
Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders; high EQ and collaboration across matrixed environments. Managing Ambiguity:
Ability to lead through change with limited information, prioritizing and delivering outcomes. Communication Excellence:
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with experience delivering executive-level content. Dynamic Environment Aptitude:
Self-starter who works independently in fast-paced settings; demonstrates grit and effective resource use. Collaboration & Teaming:
