Note Must have direct estimating experience in civil construction, heavy civil, foundations, concrete, earthwork, or closely related work. Candidates without directly relevant estimating experience will not be considered.

Job Description
Prepare accurate, timely cost estimates for civil and foundation construction projects
Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and scope requirements
Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
Partner with operations and field teams to validate production assumptions, constructability, and execution strategy
Solicit and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing
Identify scope gaps, risk items, and value‑engineering opportunities before submission
Build and organize bid proposals, clarifications, and supporting estimate documentation
Maintain pricing history, estimate templates, and bid tracking information
Support handoff of awarded work to project management and operations teams
Qualifications
3+ years of directly relevant civil estimating experience
Background in foundations, concrete, sitework, earthwork, drilling, or heavy civil strongly preferred
Strong plan‑reading, takeoff, and bid‑preparation skills
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, plans, and estimate backup documentation
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple bids and deadlines
Able to communicate clearly with field, operations, vendors, and leadership
