Assistant Athletics Director and Activities Manager

Northwest Classical Academy seeks a full-time Assistant Athletics Director and Activities Manager. This position reports to the Athletics Director on Northwest Classical Academy’s Kennesaw campus. This 12-month position starts in July 2026.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist the Athletics Director in the supervision of the athletic program, including maintaining and managing sports equipment and team uniforms, building schedules for practices and competitions, communicating with athletics staff at other schools, coordinating transportation for athletic teams, and performing other administrative duties as assigned by the Athletics Director
Serve as the school representative in place of the Athletics Director at some athletic contests that occur outside of regular school hours
Assist with the organization and execution of events such as games, meets, and team banquets
Manage extracurricular clubs, including scheduling, communication, and registration
Coordinate field trips by making reservations, calculating costs, and ensuring permission forms are collected
Manage all summer programs and camps, including scheduling, communication, registration, and in-person supervision on campus during summer activities
Adhere to the school’s mission and the principles of classical education
Engage professionally and charitably with students, parents, faculty, and staff
Model good judgment, prudence, virtue, self-discipline, and responsibility
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related work experience required
Experience working in an athletic/physical education environment required
Experience working with children required
Must have a valid driver’s license and meet the school’s policy requirements for driving a school vehicle
Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills
