Account Management – Enterprise Healthcare Named Account Manager
We are looking for a high‑performing Sales professional to join the Named Account team in the Enterprise Healthcare segment. The role involves managing 20–30 named accounts ranging from 3,000 to 50,000 mailboxes, identifying new opportunities, upselling and cross‑selling, and collaborating with an ecosystem of partners to expand the Proofpoint footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Develop account plans for each named account and identify add‑on opportunities within the existing book of business.
Utilize existing network, creativity and marketing to break into new accounts and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Maintain ongoing engagement with existing customers, organize accurate forecasting, and keep Salesforce reporting clean and clear.
Demonstate value through quarterly Customer Business Reviews and strategically manage renewals while educating customers on the Proofpoint roadmap.
Become a subject‑matter expert on the Proofpoint platform, its value proposition and competitive positioning.
Collaborate closely with internal partners and external ecosystem partners to sell the full Proofpoint Platform.
Act as a team player, contributing to overall success through result‑driven activity.
Qualifications & Expectations
Consistent track record of over‑achievement and ability to exceed revenue expectations.
Experience managing a portfolio of enterprise accounts with a mix of white‑space and existing customers.
Strong ability to create and present account plans, utilize forecasting tools and maintain clear Salesforce reporting.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across teams.
Open to relocation or currently based in Northern California.
Location Position based in Northern California.
