Job Description TAPI is looking for a commercially driven

Associate Director, Key Accounts

to grow API sales across the North American market. This role is hands‑on and customer‑facilitating, focused on building pipeline, winning new business, and expanding share of wallet with assigned accounts. It is an excellent opportunity for a proven API sales or business development professional who enjoys deal‑making, market hunting, and closing opportunities with leading pharmaceutical customers.

How You’ll Drive Growth

Deliver against defined sales targets for assigned accounts and territories

Proactively identify, qualify, and convert new API business opportunities

Analyze customer portfolios to expand existing relationships and uncover cross‑selling opportunities

Develop new customer relationships through targeted market analysis and outreach

Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, and execution of commercial and development agreements

Maintain a strong pipeline through regular customer visits and territory coverage

Coordinate closely with internal teams (customer service, supply chain, finance, marketing) to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction

Build strong product and market knowledge, understanding customer requirements, competitive offerings, and positioning TAPI APIs to win business

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree required; scientific background (Chemistry or similar) preferred

Approximately 8–10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including solid experience in API sales or business development

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive API environment

Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship‑building skills

Ability to assess opportunities quickly and execute with commercial discipline

Understanding of pharmaceutical markets, API competition, and basic trade dynamics

Willingness to travel approximately 25–30%, primarily within North America
