Responsibilities
Collaborate with Account Supervisors and Senior Account Executives to develop and execute effective strategies aligned with client objectives.
Execute tactical account responsibilities promptly and professionally.
Lead day-to-day activities for designated clients and accounts.
Adopt a leadership role in team and client meetings, as well as at client events.
Delegate tasks to and oversee the activities of Assistant Account Executives, interns and support staff.
Provide regular reports on account team activities and successes to senior management and clients.
Contribute to the firms online presence building and social media strategies.
Develop and manage basic visual/design/graphic communications and routine desktop publishing print and online materials.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum of two years of public relations or public affairs firm, corporate public affairs or state/local government communications experience.
Ability to build and nurture relationships with media and third-party organizations.
Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in drafting press releases, product announcements and social media content.
Excellent client relations skills and service ethic.
Proficiency in strategic PR program planning and execution.
Sound PR instincts and organizational skills.
Proficiency with PowerPoint/Excel/Outlook essential. Desktop publishing and/or basic design skills desired.
The company’s two offices are located in Southern California. The firm is open to superior candidates who prefer a hybrid work experience.
