Overview

Property Management Lead position responsible for maintaining assets, managing maintenance work, coordinating with vendors, and leading store-level property management activities to support store operations and guest experience. Responsibilities

Identifying and safely executing preventive and corrective maintenance on all building assets and equipment Completing work within compliance standards and Target guidelines Working with vendors and influencing timely completion of their work Influencing store team to ensure project work aligns with PM priorities and financial goals Working with Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Life Safety Power Systems and Electrical equipment Understanding repair versus replace and managing cost As a Property Management Lead, two days are never the same; typical day includes the following responsibilities: Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience Ensure every team member is trained and consistently delivers on guest experience commitments and operations Observe and provide feedback, hold team members accountable, and recognize great guest experience moments Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align the team on behavior and execution Utilize technology (e.g., Mobile Device, AI) to create, troubleshoot, prioritize, and safely complete work orders Perform preventive maintenance on building assets and equipment, including Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Life Safety Power Systems and Electrical Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and maintain a safe work environment by identifying and correcting hazards Teach and train store team to follow safety procedures Identify and perform corrective maintenance on building assets Inform and engage store leadership on property management workload priorities and impacts on asset care, maintenance and functionality Lead and demonstrate a culture of best practices; support skill development through coaching and teamwork With guidance, evaluate store brand and ensure assets and vendor performance meet maintenance and functionality standards Assist in executing special projects, remodels, and support PM assets and service strategies with store teams Ensure internal and external work orders are completed safely and efficiently; hold vendors accountable Assist in managing emergency situations as needed with store and field leaders Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, and creating equitable experiences All other duties based on business needs Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years of age or older 1+ years of technical education in electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC or plumbing and/or experience with basic repairs and troubleshooting Basic technical skills and experience with property assets Proficiency in operating power tools and equipment Strong vendor-management, accountability, and service-quality skills Effective communication skills and ability to use technology and multiple devices Ability to manage workload independently and support store team Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within timeframes Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA): In compliance with state and federal laws, Target will make reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
